Appleseed Realty will be hosting a Bowl-A-Thon in support of the Wounded Warrior Project in October 2009. Date and time of this event to follow. At this time I would like to give you a background of what the Wounded Warrior Project is all about in hopes that everyone will visit my website to donate or join us in bowling for dollars.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project is to honor and empower wounded warriors.
PURPOSE
- To raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women,
- To help severely injured service members aid and assist each other, and
- To provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of severely injured service members
Wounded Warriors To Work
Wounded Warrior Project’s Warriors to Work program helps individuals recovering from severe injuries received in the line of duty connect with the support and resources they need to build a career in the civilian workforce. It can be tough to transition into civilian life. It’s even tougher to adjust to life after a serious injury.
Warriors to Work is a free service for the new generation of service men and women who have been injured in the line of duty.
Our 2007-2008 Warriors to Work corporate sponsor, CSX, has provided funding to help make this program a success.
